Installation

In order to compile and install Knetdump on your system, type the following in the base directory of the Knetdump distribution: 

% ./configure
% make
% make install

Since Knetdump uses 

autoconf
you should have not trouble compiling it. Should you run into problems please report them to the the author at Norbert Weuster

FAQ

  • Q: Does knetdump work with QT-2.X ?
  • A: NO, knetdump is as KDE-1.1 not QT-2.X compatible. You need absolutly QT-1.X !!!

  • Q: Do I need libpcap?
  • A: No, knetdump is independent from libpcap.
